EBay Nation: What People Are Making on the Online Auction Site

For the first six months of 2005, U.S.-based members of eBay, the online auction company, sold $10.6 billion in merchandise, according to a survey conducted by ACNielsen International Research. In the same survey, more than 724,000 Americans said that they rely on eBay as their primary or secondary source of income. Another 1.5 million Americans use eBay to supplement their income.
