Qzone is a Chinese social networking site and blogging platform for self-expression and content sharing.
Tencent Holdings Limited, a Chinese investment holding company created Qzpme in 2005. It is the largest social networking website in China and is similar to Facebook and MySpace. Qzone boasts more than 597 million registered users and more than 150 billion photos, with 200 million photos uploaded daily. Qzone's estimated worth is $11.2 billion.
Registration for Qzone is free. Registered users can maintain personal blogs, customize the background of their blog, update diaries, send photos to other users and listen to music. However, not all services on Qzone are free. Purchase of the "Canary Yellow Diamond" membership opens up access to background music and theme customization. The longer that paid registrants remain as members on Qzone, the more features they are able to access. If paid membership expires, all the acquired features expire, too.
