Thornton May is a respected futurist, adviser and educator whose insights on IT strategy have appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and numerous computer industry publications. In his capacity as executive director and dean of the IT Leadership Academy, hosted by Florida Community College at Jacksonville, May and his team produce The CIO Habitat Report by surveying an estimated 500 thought leaders in IT and business with three to five research questions by email. They then review the patterns emerging from the responses and discuss them in follow-up phone interviews.
